WORK > Old Growth, public art

A commission for Greg Sather of McCallumSather Architects, this project initiated my interest in the environment, architecture, art, and the city. Old Growth recalls the archetypical forest as a metaphor for dwelling and relationships between people, nature, and urban life. Calling to mind the ghost forests that once occupied downtown Hamilton, the work is created from a single vantage point across the street in a busy section of downtown.
